What you need to do
- Study on 14 or more separate days before your exam. A day counts when you complete at least one practice session or mock exam in your account that day; reading primers or flash cards alone doesn't count. Your dashboard shows your running total.
- Score 80% or higher on at least one full-length practice exam before your exam. A full-length practice exam is a timed practice exam of 45 or more questions (the full and half mock exams both qualify). Your highest mock score is shown on your dashboard.
- Sit the ASWB Clinical exam within your access period — any time in the year after you purchase. The guarantee applies to your first attempt after the purchase date.
How to claim
Email support@lcswbooster.com within 60 days of your exam date from the address on your account, and attach your result. Either of these works:
- A photo or scan of the unofficial result printout you receive at the Pearson VUE test center on exam day, or
- Your official ASWB score report, which posts to your ASWB account and arrives by mail about two weeks after the exam.
It needs to show your name, the exam, the date, and the result. That's the only paperwork. We confirm the 14 days and the 80% mock from your account's own activity log — the same numbers you see on your dashboard — so there's nothing else to prove.
What you get
- A full refund of what you paid, to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days of our confirmation.
- Your account stays open through your next attempt at no charge. A retake is at least 90 days out and you'll want somewhere to practice.
- If you'd like it, a look at your ASWB score breakdown with Cara, our co-founder and an LCSW, to decide what to focus on next.
The fine print
- One refund per person, for the ASWB Clinical (LCSW) exam. Other ASWB exam levels aren't covered.
- Both conditions must be met before the exam date on your score report. Sessions completed after the exam don't count toward the claim.
- A cancelled, rescheduled, or missed exam isn't a failed exam.
- Accounts are personal. If the activity in an account doesn't match one person studying for one exam, we may decline the claim.
- This guarantee is separate from the 3-day money-back period in our Terms of Service, which applies to any purchase for any reason.
- We can update these terms for future purchases; the version in effect when you bought is the one that applies to you. Last updated October 28, 2026.
Why we offer it
Someone who studies for 14 days and scores 80% on a full-length mock has done the work. If the exam still goes wrong, that shouldn't cost them twice. We'd rather refund the rare case than make everyone else wonder whether the promise is real.
